Corporate Tax specialist

  • Reporting directly to the Group Head of Tax, be an integral part of the group tax function and collaborate with tax team members throughout the group.
  • Overall responsibility for all Singapore corporate tax matters, including compliance, consulting, tax disputes and all other Singapore specific matters.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of tax provision calculations, including return to provision calculations and reconciliation of deferred tax assets and liabilities, ETR analysis, validation of tax balance sheet accounts and tax provision analysis.
  • Support and provide value add to country based tax teams on corporate tax, transfer pricing, structuring and consultancy matters
  • Support business growth by reviewing and implementing new business initiatives and product roll outs.
  • Develop and implement the group transfer pricing policy including responsibility for master file, local file and CbCR reporting. ¬†Collaborate with country based tax teams to ensure compliance with group policy and fulfilment of compliance obligations in a consistent manner.
  • Help to administer the group structure from a tax perspective, in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Manage, lead and execute tax work streams for M&A and key strategic projects, including tax structuring of acquisitions and strategic partnerships, due diligence and post-transaction integration.
  • Monitor and assess new tax legislation and case law for applicability and communicate changes and impact to the business.
  • Make recommendations regarding use of external advisors, and manage those advisors.



  • 6-8 years of Singapore based direct tax experience.
  • Preferably a combination of experience from industry and Big 4/law firm.
  • Exposure to other SE Asia jurisdictions would be beneficial.
  • Specialist experience with transfer pricing and/or M&A is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of international tax concepts.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • A team player than is used to operating cross functionally and cross jurisdiction/culture.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and high-growth organization.
  • Open to challenging projects outside areas of experience or comfort zone
